Containerized Ocean Freight International Shipping Lines
  • Container shipping offers the best price-to-weight ratio.
  • It is the most flexible option, allowing you to change routes even after the cargo has been loaded and is in transit - you can reroute to a different destination port depending on your commercial needs.
  • The global port network for FCL (Full Container Load) is the most profitable for importers and exporters.
  • Container capacities and volumes are so diverse that they cover approximately 98% of all globally traded goods.

Advantages of FCL (Full Container Load) Shipping

FCL (Full-Container-Loading) is a shipment type that involves loading the goods into a container for sea transport. Although the name suggests the usage of an entire container, it actually means that the container space is used exclusively and not shared with other shippers.

Security against cargo loss or theft

FCL sea freight involves sealing the container doors at the time of dispatch. These seals remain intact until the container reaches its final destination, significantly reducing the risk of theft or loss — unlike LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping, where cargo from multiple shippers shares the same space.

Lower risk of damage or contamination

FCL shipping involves fewer handling operations during loading and unloading compared to LCL, which minimizes the risk of cargo damage or contamination from other goods in a shared container.

Significant time and cost savings

FCL streamlines the supply chain by reducing delivery times and transportation costs. Additionally, FCL shipping requires fewer formalities and less documentation than LCL, helping speed up the overall process.
